Blue Spruce have very sharp needles with the color of trees ranging from green to blue-green. Blue Spruce do not hold needles very well as a cut Christmas tree. However, they are popular in some regions of the country as Christmas trees. The Blue Spruce is most popular as a balled and burlapped tree used by landscapers during the Spring and Fall planting seasons.
